Sometimes a family photo shoot is very planned... and sometimes the plan is to improvise! The important part that the love of the family comes through, whether it's a family just getting started, or one growing with new members marrying in. Sometimes the planning helps to do this, and sometimes (a lot of the time!) an improvisational spirit does the trick.

I've done a number of family photo shoots recently, and really had a blast doing them, helping these families to have shots they love. Here's a sampling of some of the shots from a few.
